A big thank you to our amazing volunteers!

April 16, 2018 — This week marks National Volunteer Appreciation Week and all of the staff from Fieldstone Farm would like to thank all of the incredibly generous volunteers for giving their time, dedication and expertise to the farm. Our program would not be possible without them.

Each week, we rely on more than 250 volunteers to help our students, and in 2017, our volunteers donated more than 23,000 hours of their personal time, the most ever in our 40-year history! This time is valued at nearly $550,000. We are so incredibly fortunate to have our volunteers on our team.

To honor these amazing individuals, we will host a dinner on May 12 in conjunction with the student recognition event at the farm. The President’s Volunteer Service Awards and other top honors will be presented. Thank you for making a difference in the lives of more than 1,300 people with special needs and challenges each year.
